Custom In-Ears

Cosmic Ears provides a limited warranty for material defects and workmanship faults in either the external shell or the internal components of custom in-ear monitors, for a period of 2 years from the original shipping date. You can find your shipping date on the warranty card you received with your order.

If you spot an issue within this time, then please let us know and we will be happy to help. Once the warranty period has ended, don’t worry. Our customer care team will still be able to provide guidance and support regarding your issue.

It is important to ensure that you are taking care of your monitors, as in some cases monitors cannot be repaired, for example if they have been crushed, water damaged or impacted by wax build-up. You can find information about troubleshooting and maintaining your monitors on our repairs page.

CES Range Models

Cosmic Ears provides a limited warranty on all custom in-ear monitors in our Standard (CES) Range.

This warranty covers material defects and workmanship faults in either the external shell or the internal components, for a period of 1 year from the original shipping date. You can find your shipping date on the warranty card you received with your order.

Please note, the workmanship warranty on Custom IEMs does not cover fit adjustments. For more information about our refit warranty, please follow the link below.

Refits

DISCLAIMER

The workmanship warranty on custom in-ear monitors does not cover:

  • Damage or breakage is caused by misuse, abuse, excessive wax build-up in sound tubes, sweat build-up, excessive volume, any shock or impact, negligence, dropping your monitors, acts of God or any use of Cosmic Ears products contrary to Cosmic Ears' instructions.
  • Continued use of your monitors after any issue has been reported.
  • Products or parts that have been modified or altered without the written permission of the company.
  • Damage or breakage caused by modification or service, performed by anyone other than Cosmic Ears.
  • Third party products such as In-Ear Monitors, ear plugs, cables, or accessories that are not manufactured by Cosmic Ears.
  • Monitors that have not been returned to Cosmic Ears in packaging suitable to prevent damage in transit.
  • Cables or cable pins that have been broken and/or are stuck inside the sockets of your monitors. (Please see our cable warranty at the bottom of this page for more details.)

Generic In-Ears

Cosmic Ears provides a limited warranty for material defects and workmanship faults in either the external housing or internal components for a period of 1 year from the original shipping date. You can find this date on the warranty card you received with your order. If you notice any issues within this time period, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

Please note, all scenarios in the disclaimer under custom in-ears also apply to our generic fit in-ears, and in the event that one of these is applicable - for example, continued use of your monitors after any issue has been reported - your warranty will be void.

Unfortunately our generic monitors cannot go through our refit process, as they are not a custom-fit product. If you are struggling with the fit or seal of your generic in-ears, please try one of the different sizes of tips provided in your order.

Custom Hearing Protection (CHP)

Cosmic Ears provides a limited warranty for material defects or workmanship in either the external shell or filter for a period of one (1) year from the original shipping date.

Please note, the workmanship warranty on Custom Hearing Protection does not cover fit adjustments. For more information about our refit warranty, please follow the link below.

Refits

  • Damage or breakage caused by modification or service, performed by anyone other than Cosmic Ears.
  • Third party products such as ear plugs or hearing protection filters that are not manufactured or supplied by Cosmic Ears.
  • Items that have not been returned to Cosmic Ears in packaging suitable to prevent damage in transit.

Accessories

Cosmic Ears provides a limited warranty of 90 days on all accessories, excluding cables, from the original shipping date. If you are unsure about the shipping date, you can get in touch and check with our customer care team.

If you notice any issues within 90 days of receiving the product, please notify us at your earliest convenience. Continued use of the product will void the warranty.

If your accessories break after the warranty has ended, these items are available for purchase through our website. You can follow the link below to access our shop.

Accessories

Cables

Cosmic Ears provides a limited warranty of 30 days on cables, with or without an order of monitors, from the original shipping date. If you received the cable with an order of monitors, you can find this date on the warranty card. If you are unsure of the shipping date, you can check with our customer care team.

If you notice any issues within 30 days of receiving your cable, please notify us at your earliest convenience. Continued use of the product will void the warranty.

Please ensure you are not using your cable to remove your monitors from your ears. Broken pins are not covered under the warranty. Please visit our support page if this happens.

If your cable breaks outside of the given warranty time frame, do not worry, they are available for purchase through our website. You can follow the link below to access this page.
