Appreciating the moment with Hannah Brodrick...
Hannah specialises in Monitor Mixing, RF Technology and Corporate Audio.
The majority of Hannah's work is as a Monitor Engineer, currently touring with The Last Dinner Party, and previously with artists such as Florence + The Machine and Keane, doing a mixture of academy, arena and stadium shows, plus a fair few festivals! Hannah is also the proud co-founder of the wonderful organisation, Women In Live Music.

Who are you currently working with? And who have you worked with in the past?
Currently doing monitors for The Last Dinner Party. I spent the last year touring the world with Keane and before that I was with Florence + The Machine.

What music and/or artists do you like to listen to at the moment? (aside from your own/the artists you are looking after;)

I’m a big fan of 80s rock and pop music. Currently listening to The Fixx, Russ Ballad and Kenny Loggins. Also a huge fan of whatever Dirty Loops or Drab Majesty put out.

What exciting new music or shows have you got coming up? (feel free to list locations and dates for promo!)

I’m about to tour Japan with The Last Dinner Party which I have a feeling is going to be amazing.
I also look after a couple of venues in my local town and an 80s rock band I really love called FM are coming through next week. Really looking forward to that.

Which band or artist would you like to sing the soundtrack to your biopic?

It’s gonna have to be Michael Bolton.

What is the most important factor for you when choosing custom IEMs?

Good customer service and support.

What Cosmic Ears model are you currently using?

How would you describe the sound of your Cosmic’s in 3 words?
Indulgent, rich and clear.

Why do you trust Cosmic Ears?

Great communication from the team and a proven history of delivering what is needed for artists and engineers alike.

What words of wisdom do you have for anyone reading this story?

I think often in this job we are always looking ahead to the next thing, whether we are travelling or waiting for the show to end so we can load out. Remember to stop, be present and really appreciate the moment, even if it feels like it's lost it’s novelty. These are the memories you’ll look back on with fondness one day.
