CU Range

Hand-finished for a comfortable but Universal fit, each model in our CU range is for anyone and everyone who wants to experience our signature Cosmic Ears sound, without the need to have ear impressions taken.
Each model in the CU range uses the same tried and trusted balanced armature technology as its custom counterpart, and every set of Universals is hand assembled and finished here at our HQ in Manchester, in our Solid Acoustic Mass Shells (SAMs) for ultimate durability protection of the drivers.
All CU range models come with a standard 1-year workmanship warranty (see our warranty page for more details). For orders of 10+ sets please contact us for industry support offers.
**Please note that Universal generic fit in-ears do not offer the same isolation nor exceptional tailored fit that custom IEMs do. If you want custom-fit monitors, please check out the models in our CA Range.**

C3U
With 3 balanced armatures per side (1 low, 1 mid and 1 high), our C3U is a true all-rounder, packing a vibrant and bright, bold punch through the lows, mids and highs. The C3U is a great choice for professionals entering the world of IEMs. Whether you are a vocalist, drummer, guitarist or keys player, they will serve you well!
C4U
Our C4U hosts 4 balanced armatures per side (1 low, 1 mid, 1 mid-high and 1 high), and is the go-to choice for many musicians who prefer a bright, crisp frequency response through the mid and high range. The C4U is beautifully clean and clear, with tight low end. A favourite choice for strings, keys, brass and woodwind players, as well as vocalists.
C6U & C6UR
The C6U hosts 6 balanced armatures per side (2 low, 2 mid, 2 high). Delivering an intricate, detailed, wide and layered soundscape, the C6U brings out the very best in every track and composition. For sound engineers and any professionals who prefer a more neutral and accurate sound, our C6UR model is the best to ensure every track is as clean as it can be from the source.
C8U
The C8U is a powerhouse, with 8 balanced armatures per side (2 low, 2 low-mid, 2 mid, 2 high). With all the incredible sound attributes of our C6U, and added headroom, the C8U produces power and accuracy in the lows/low mids, sparkling detail across the mids, and crisp highs. For professionals who want to take their in-ear monitoring sound to the next level.

Technology
Your chosen Universal-fit, CU range model, will be finished with our standard clear shells, and our Cosmic Ears logo. You have the option to personalise your own Cosmic Ears Shuttle case, and you will receive our super lightweight ProQ cable in silver, a selection of interchangeable silicone tips, and a maintenance kit with your order.
